Is it a search engine or is it a librarian?

msdewey.jpgWhatever it is, it's pretty hot! Would she help bring more reluctant male readers into the virtual library?

I have no idea who is behind Ms Dewey. (Got the link from an Ozzie librarian who didn't know either.)

Is that an example of Librarian 2.0? :-)

A little software company in Redmond WA called Microsoft is behind Ms. Dewey. It is an experiment in trying a different sort of user interface for searching.

Hi, Doug,

Showed this last night to a group of librarians here at our monthly users' group meeting...we were highly amused! But we're not sure we'll be using Ms. Dewey in the classroom...

Hope you have safe travels to Thailand and Peru!

Regards,

Sue
