Brilliant artwork

My issue of AASL's Knowledge Quest came in today's mail. I was struck by the wonderful cover art:

Would that talented artist be related to me? Perhaps. And a big thanks to KQ editor, Sara Kellly Johns, for working with my son on this drawing.

My copy came today, but I haven't had the chance to read any of the articles yet. Being a visual learner, I noted and appreciate the cover artwork. Kudos to the artist!

As a school librarian and mother of a brilliant artist myself :o), I am *thrilled* that your son's work is being showcased! It is hip and eye-catching, while being appropriate to the purpose & audience! Great work! Creative kids rock!
