Thanks to everyone who tuned in yesterday afternoon. I had fun, but I've always said that the one doing all the talking is never bored. Anyway, I added the Think Before You Link poster below. Great info!!

I am the Internet Safety coordinator for my entire Region, have created & implemented unique Internet Safety curriculum for all 2nd and 3rd graders, write a regular newspaper column and chair a committee I put together of community members regarding online safety issues.

I just put together a educational resource for parents and teachers regarding my passion, Internet Safety.

Thanks for the double mention on your blog and the mention in your article, Doug.

our stopcyberbullying.org site has lots of info on cyberbullying, which, in our experience, is the most frequent problem on web 2.0 sites and networks with young users.

we have just conducted a poll (our teenangels volunteers have, teenangels.org) with stats on the difference between 7th and 8th grade girls and how they use a social network.

A very small poll, conducted by the teens themselves, disclosed that the 7th graders were more interested in talking with and meeting new people online than their older counterparts.

Chris Hansen's new book, To Catch a Predator highlights why we work so closely with the social networks and the positive uses of social networks for teens.

I have been using blogs, wikis, and podcasts with my students for two years with great success.
